3 Tips for buying acreage in Florida

With increased social media attention on “home steading” and “growing your own food” it’s no wonder many people have turned back to their childhood dreams of owning their own land.

My best advice to buyers who want acreage:

1) Don’t quit your daydream. If it’s your dream, you can make it happen.

2) Be flexible in location. Really flexible! Understand that having land will come at the cost of convenience.

3) It’s what’s on the outside that counts? If you love the land, the trees, & the size of the lot consider a home that has fewer desirable features inside. You can change those with time and effort.
